Join City of Moreton Bay as a Project Support Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Project Support Officer, you work closely with the Lead Project Officer to deliver strategic initiatives across the Cultural Services Department, which includes Libraries, Galleries, Museums, Cultural Activation + more, with a workforce of 270+ staff. In this role, you will:

  • Assist in the coordination and tracking of project activities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support stakeholder communication and engagement through meeting coordination, minutes etc
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and registers.
  • Schedule meetings, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring logistical arrangements are in place.
  • Conduct basic data analysis and reporting to support project monitoring and decision-making.
  • Support the implementation of communication plans and change readiness activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement of project processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.

About you

We’re seeking candidates with experience in administrative or project support and a strong understanding of project coordination principles.

You’ll bring strong organisational and time‑management skills to manage competing priorities, along with the ability to adapt and pivot when project needs shift.

As a confident communicator, you’ll work effectively with internal teams and contribute positively within a dynamic, fast‑moving environment. You’ll also bring technical capability, including experience with data entry, reporting tools, project management methodologies, and the Microsoft Office Suite
