Leading a dedicated team of five, you will play a key leadership role within our Environmental Health team, guiding the delivery of high‑quality regulatory and public health services across the region. You will also:

• Provide technical leadership for complex investigations under a diverse suite of legislation
• Lead the resolution of escalated customer issues, exercising sound judgement and identifying improvement opportunities
• Allocate and monitor team workloads, supporting capability development and fostering a high‑performance, customer‑focused culture
• Develop internal governance documents that support the effective and consistent delivery of Environmental Health functions
• Oversee investigations, inspections and community health programs that support the needs of our growing community

About you

You are an experienced and confident leader with a strong understanding of environmental and public health matters!

With your passion for quality customer service and your exceptional interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation.  

You bring the ability to lead, supervise and develop a team, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental public health, government investigations, law or a related field
