The Details:

  • Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
  • $99,136pa + 12% super (level 5)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Location: Caboolture

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Local Laws Team Leader, and help educate and support our communities for today and tomorrow.

In this role you will lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for delivering community education to encourage voluntary compliance and, where necessary, undertaking enforcement activities.

You will drive a culture focused on positive customer outcomes through the consistent application of Council’s Local Laws and relevant State legislation. You will also:

  • train, support and coach the team to set them up for success & perform their tasks safely & efficiently
  • execute local law investigations & offer guidance/advice regarding compliance and legislation
  • exercise judgement and initiative to resolve escalated customer and procedural issues
  • foster a high-performance team culture through effective leadership
  • participate in the after hours on call service roster
