Join City of Moreton Bay as a Administration Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As an Administration Officer in the Kerbside Collection Contract operational team, you’ll have the opportunity to provide administrative and business support to our Waste and Resource Recovery Department, involving direct Resident contact. You’ll work collaboratively with other administration team members across the department to deliver a seamless support service to the Kerbside Collection operation, as well as assisting with customer enquiries including resolving enquiries and requests from incoming correspondence into Moreton Bay Waste inbox and Waste Management resource pool.
Additionally, you will:
- Process bin collection services requests and applications
- Preparation of resident correspondence with regard to kerbside collection service enquiries
- Undertake investigations and report on operational issues
- Support the coordination of waste and recycling community engagement activities, including compilation of promotional material, events, workshops, presentations and information forums.

About you
You’ll bring a great attitude, love working with multiple stakeholders & alongside an exceptional team of Waste professionals. Ideally having worked in a similar role, you’ll have the essential ability to provide admin support. This will be balanced out with your highly refined communication skills, interpersonal skills and a strong focus on the provision of quality internal customer service.
Additionally, you'll have strong Microsoft Office suite skills, the ability to pick up Council's corporate systems and hold a 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
