About you
You bring a strong mix of environmental knowledge, project management capability and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to navigate complex challenges and deliver high‑quality outcomes. You will also bring:
- comprehensive knowledge and experience working within a government/political context and in accordance with Queensland and Commonwealth Environmental legislation
- ability to undertake environmental audits and evaluations with a high attention to detail
- project management skills to manage complex projects autonomously and prepare high quality reports.
- strong communication and ability to build quality relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and work collaboratively to ensure positive environmental outcomes for Council and the community.
We’re continuing to include cutting edge technology, such as thermal drone surveillance, into our conservation projects, so you will need a keen interest in emerging and innovative technologies and its use in conservation and restoration projects.
