We have an exciting opportunity for a Gallery Officer to join our team at the Redcliffe Art Gallery!
In this role, you’ll help keep our gallery running smoothly while supporting the delivery of engaging programs and events. From tours and workshops to exhibition openings and family friendly activities, your days will be varied and fast‑paced.
Reporting to the Gallery Leader, you’ll also play an important role in supporting the team. This includes overseeing routine tasks, helping team members build their skills and identifying opportunities for growth within the industry - while growing your own leadership capabilities.
You’ll contribute to creating positive visitor experiences, helping ensure the gallery is a welcoming and engaging space for diverse audiences. The role also involves reviewing gallery processes and preparing information that supports venue performance reporting.
This position may also be asked to work at other venues and requires the successful team member to be available to work any 5 out of 7 days per week as part of the ordinary hours, as well as flexibility to work at gallery events out of ordinary hours.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced candidate that understands and is familiar with the operations of a visitor-focused cultural facility. With this, you will bring experience developing and delivering public programs and delivering high quality customer service.
As you will be overseeing team members perform their duties, it is important that you can demonstrate leadership qualities and experiences that align with our culture and values. You will bring your exceptional time management and interpersonal skills to ensure a strong focus on the provision of exceptional visitor experiences.
Successful candidates must be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) prior to employment.
