  • Pay: $42.28 - $43.50 per hour + super (including casual loading)
  • Hours: casual - most shifts Monday to Friday | 6:30am to 3:30pm
  • Location: Caboolture, Narangba, Margate, Petrie, Arana Hills, Bribie Island, Woodford, Dayboro

We’re building a casual labourer pool to support our parks and roads/drains teams across City of Moreton Bay.

This is hands-on, outdoor work where you’ll see the results of your effort every day - cleaner parks, safer roads, and a better place for locals to live.

If you’re reliable, safety‑focused and happy to get stuck in, we want to hear from you.


What you’ll be doing

In our Parks Maintenance teams...

  • Mowing parks and nature strips
  • Mulching, weeding, pruning and planting
  • Brush cutting and hedge trimming
  • Spraying and litter removal
  • Driving trucks and trailers

In our Roads and Drains Maintenance teams...

  • Installing and repairing road signs
  • Footpath, concrete and kerb repairs
  • Stormwater and drain maintenance
  • Clearing open drains and pits
  • Manhole, grate and cover maintenance
  • Fence repairs and minor civil works
  • Traffic island repairs

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything — a good attitude and willingness to learn goes a long way.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience working safely in labouring roles
  • Physical fitness and ability to do manual work
  • A strong safety mindset
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

You must have:

  • Current driver’s licence (MR or higher preferred)
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)

This role is a great way to get your foot in the door, with opportunities to prove yourself for future permanent work.
