Join City of Moreton Bay in this newly created specialist role and play a critical part in delivering the infrastructure projects that will shape our city for generations to come.
Our project delivery teams are delivering an ambitious capital works program to support one of Australia's fastest-growing communities. To enable continued success, we're seeking a dedicated Public Utility Specialist to lead the coordination and management of public utility infrastructure across a diverse portfolio of projects.
In this role, you'll provide expert oversight of underground and above-ground utility assets, including water, sewer, stormwater, gas, electricity and telecommunications. You'll ensure utility requirements are identified early and managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle, supporting compliant, safe and efficient project delivery.
Working closely with utility providers, contractors and internal stakeholders, you'll help navigate complex utility interfaces, mitigate risks and minimise project delays. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring public utility assets are appropriately protected, relocated or upgraded while balancing project timelines, budgets and community expectations.

About You
You understand first-hand the impact that utility constraints can have on infrastructure projects - whether through delays, unexpected costs, design changes or delivery risks. More importantly, you know how to proactively manage these challenges and identify opportunities for better outcomes.
You bring extensive experience coordinating utility infrastructure within complex project environments and have the confidence to lead technical discussions with utility authorities, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. You have excellent relationship-building skills and have the ability to communicate well with public utility stakeholders across all levels.
Your combination of technical expertise, stakeholder management skills and commercial awareness allows you to provide trusted advice on utility-related risks, constraints and opportunities. You can confidently influence decision-making and help project teams achieve successful outcomes across cost, schedule, risk and service continuity considerations.
This is an exciting opportunity to become the recognised subject matter expert in a newly established role, working alongside passionate professionals who are committed to delivering infrastructure that creates lasting value for our growing community.
