As a Senior Library Officer within our Cultural Services Department, you will help oversee the daily operations of a complex and dynamic public library branch, support the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and engaging library services that meet the needs of our growing community.
You will:
- Provide leadership and support library staff while managing escalated customer enquiries and behaviour and procedural matters
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences for all ages and provide expert advice on library collections, resources and services
- Coach and develop staff capability, with a focus on digital and information literacy
- Develop, promote and deliver library programs and advanced customer services
- Contribute expert advice to the review and improvement of library procedures and collection management practices

About you
You are a customer focused library professional with strong interpersonal skills and experience supporting the delivery of library services, collections and programs. You enjoy working with people and are committed to creating positive experiences for both customers and colleagues.
With experience supervising staff in a complex and dynamic public library environment, you can provide day-to-day guidance, develop team capability and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You hold a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a current C class driver's licence.
