As our Principal Active Transport Planner, you will provide expert leadership in the planning and prioritisation of active and micromobility initiatives across the region. Working with diverse stakeholders, you will develop evidence-based solutions that enhance connectivity, safety and sustainable transport outcomes for the community.

About you
We are seeking someone who has significant experience in active transport planning and a passion for delivering safe, connected and sustainable walking and cycling networks. You'll bring strong stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking skills to help shape future transport outcomes for the City of Moreton Bay.
You will have;
- knowledge of contemporary transport planning principles, standards, legislation, and industry best practice
- demonstrated expertise in project identification, prioritisation, scoping, and program management.
- proven ability to prepare and present complex technical reports, recommendations and proposals.
- excellent time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
- a degree in a relevant field such as Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or Traffic and Transport
- C Class Drivers Licence
