The Details:

  • Full Time Contract
  • TRP $207,505 pa (inclusive of 12% super and leave loading)
  • 76 hour fortnight
  • 5 weeks annual leave 
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Strathpine

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Coordinator Stormwater Engineering, and lead a team who are make a lasting impact on community infrastructure outcomes. 

As a Coordinator Stormwater Engineering you will coordinate the day to day operations by providing leadership and quality assurance for specialist stormwater engineering and water quality design services that deliver sustainable, compliant drainage and treatment system performance.

You will have the opportunity to; 

  • coordinate workflow and task allocation to deliver stormwater engineering and water quality design services
  • develop quality assure drainage, conveyance, detention and treatment system designs for compliance with standards and performance requirements.
  • resolve routine design coordination issues and escalate complex or high risk matters with clear technical advice and options.
  • support staff development, technical capability and consistent design practices.

About you

We are seeking a collaborative and experienced engineering leader with strong technical expertise in stormwater and water quality design. You can successfully manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality, governance and customer outcomes.

You will bring;

  • strong understanding of stormwater system design, water quality treatment and quality assurance practices
  • experience supporting design governance and review processes
  • knowledge of WHS obligations, including safe design principles

You will have a tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) with an endorsement relevant to the role,  Construction Induction Card and  Current C class driver’s licence.
