About our opportunity

We have a brand-new opportunity for an Infringement and Review Officer to join our Customer Response Department at Caboolture.  

Reporting directly to the Infringement Management Lead, you will handle requests relating to the removal of infringements in areas across Environmental Health, Parking, Animal Management and Local Laws, ensuring accordance with relevant legislation.

You will work within a large team, who will look to you for your advice on complex infringement assessments or escalated matters.

In this role you will also:

  • Oversee the infringement collection process (incl reminder notices/payment plans/SPER arrangements
  • Assist with the administration of Body Worn Camera’s and related evidence management systems
  • Review infringement activity and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with the management of any customer services/complaints and court elects referred for action
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About you

Are you experienced in interpreting legislation and assessing infringements?

We are seeking candidates who have knowledge of various statutory requirements, such as Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995, State Penalties Enforcement Act 1999 and/or Animal Management (Cats and Dogs) Act 2008.    

With your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you’ll have the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have effective time management and decision-making ability…which will enable you to work within tight timeframes and deadlines and within a regulatory team environment.
