  • $94,415 - $98,418 pa + 12% super
    Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 5 of EBA
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Strathpine

About our opportunity

As a Learning and Training Officer you will be part of the Technology Services team to deliver specialist design and delivery of blended learning solutions across Technology enabled changes. We will look to you to create and manage contemporary eLearning, source fit and impactful learning journeys and training course outlines from concept to delivery across council.

Additionally, you will

  • conduct needs assessment/instructional analysis to ensure conformity with training and change objectives and develop training plans
  • perform analysis, design, delivery, and evaluation of successful learning and development solutions incorporating accessible and digital learning principles
  • conduct facilitation, coaching and support of knowledge transfer to audiences both virtual and face to face training delivery
  • observe and evaluate learners and provides knowledge, skill, competency, and behaviour assessments

About you

We are seeking a Learning and Training professional that has been in a similar role with extensive experience in the implementation of technology enable business change and training projects. You will be organised and have exceptional time management skills, able to manage conflicting priorities, and have a strong customer focus.

Your ability to undertake training needs analysis, design, and develop training programs, and communication materials, to ensure effective delivery of training to all levels of council staff. You will hold a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment and have extensive knowledge and skills in training software programs and learning management systems.

We need a team member who can establish ongoing good working relationships, work within a positive team environment, and can confidently engage effectively with all levels of the business and with external stakeholders.
