  • Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight 
  • $94,451 to $119,371 pa + 12% super (Stream A) - Level 5 to 7 of EBA5
    The appointed wage level will be dependent upon the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications. 
  • Commuter Use vehicle
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Strathpine

Our Project Development and Delivery team manage around $200m worth of roads, path, bridges, stormwater drainage, sporting fields and clubhouse buildings, and other community buildings every year, across the whole region for our residents and visitors to enjoy.

As a Project Manager you'll manage a complex portfolio of projects through procurement, award, construction, defects liability and maintenance periods with minimal guidance. You manage complex planning and investigation of projects including alternate solutions, cost estimation and constructability considerations, with a strong focus on safety and contract management. You'll also:

  • Provide specialist engineering advice and ensure works are undertaken in accordance with current construction legislation, Australian standards, Workplace Health and Safety requirements 
  • Manage consultants and contractors to ensure projects are run to schedule
  • Resolve complex construction issues associated with multi-facet asset projects.

About you

We're looking for experienced civil construction Project Managers with comprehensive experience managing complex construction projects, inline with relevant legislation and standards. You'll also bring:

  • Considerable experience providing specialist engineering advice to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Great relationship management skills to work with internal and external stakeholders, as well as providing guidance and support to other team members
  • Tertiary qualification in architecture, engineering, construction management or other relevant field (required)
  • Construction Induction Card competency (required)
  • C class driver's licence (required)
