The details:

  • Work part time - 3 to 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), depending on what suits your study needs
  • Appointment will be for the duration of your undergraduate studies.
  • $34.68 per hour + 12% super (level 1)
  • Location: Narangba

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated University Student to work in our Civil Services team!

Our Civil Services team is responsible for the procurement and project management of council programs for the renewal and construction of infrastructure related to the Roads and Drains Assets.   

Working alongside professionals in this field, you will gain some great knowledge in the area of your studies as you assist the team in programming, procurement, tendering, data entry and extraction associated with road pavements related assets, as well as other tasks as required while getting to site for asset condition evaluation and assisting with the delivery of projects for City of Moreton Bay.

You will be currently enrolled in relevant university studies ideally with a Civil Engineering focus, hold a current C Class Driver's Licence and a Construction Induction Card (or be willing to obtain).

Ideally, you will be available to work a minimum of 21.75 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and be keen to join us to gain real-world experience in this progressive and innovative industry.
