Join City of Moreton Bay as part of our major ERP transformation program team and help deliver a modern, fit‑for‑purpose system that empowers our teams to provide the services that shape and enrich our communities - today and into the future.

It's a great time to come on board. We’re in the early formation stages of building this dedicated project team, and this role will provide key technical input in driving its success. Our executive leadership has identified this transformation as a top organisational priority, with strong support, clear commitment and the resources needed to do it right.

Our enterprise system (TechOne) was implemented several years ago - we’ve moved past the initial migration challenges and short‑term workarounds. Now, we’re ready to step back, rethink and rebuild. This is your opportunity to be part of the redesign of a critical system, moving beyond “good enough” to create a high‑performing platform that truly supports our growth and sets us up for long‑term success.

The Role

As our Workflow and Integration Specialist, you will become the go‑to expert for designing, configuring and managing automated workflows across our TechOne environment and supporting platforms. You will:

  • Design and streamline end‑to‑end approval workflows, routing logic and system‑to‑system interactions to drive measurable business improvements.
  • Define workflow rules, build integrations and standardise processes across Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, HR/Payroll, Assets/Works and other domains.
  • Ensure strong governance, auditability, performance, and scalability across the entire workflow ecosystem.
  • Architect workflow designs using platforms including Workday Business Process Framework (BPF), and Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Automate.
  • Shape approval pathways, escalations, exception handling, and complex multi‑step business logic across multiple enterprise systems.

This role offers significant technical influence, architectural input and the chance to build future‑focused capabilities from the ground up.

About You

You bring deep experience in workflow automation and ERP process design, and you’re energised by the opportunity to join a large transformation at its foundational stage.  You have:

  • Strong understanding of ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR/Payroll, Asset Management) and how workflow automation supports business processes.
  • Proven experience designing, configuring and optimising complex, multi‑step workflows within ERP workflow engines.
  • Expertise in rules‑based routing, escalations, notifications and workflow security/audit controls.
  • Solid integration experience across ERP and connected systems (CRM, Finance, Procurement, external APIs).
  • Skills and experience with:
    • MuleSoft – API Management
    • Dell Boomi – API Management
    • REST APIs – Integration
    • Microsoft Visio – Workflow design
    • DevOps – Documentation/versioning
  • Experience designing and maintaining API‑based integrations, data mappings and process orchestrations.

TechOne experience is highly advantageous but not essential—we value capability, architectural thinking and the ability to deliver modern workflow and integration patterns at scale.
