Join City of Moreton Bay as part of our major ERP transformation program team and help deliver a modern, fit‑for‑purpose system that empowers our teams to provide the services that shape and enrich our communities - today and into the future.
It's a great time to come on board. We’re in the early formation stages of building this dedicated project team, and this role will provide key input in driving its success. Our executive leadership has identified this transformation as a top organisational priority, with strong support, clear commitment and the resources needed to do it right.
Our enterprise system (TechOne) was implemented several years ago - we’ve moved past the initial migration challenges and short‑term workarounds. Now, we’re ready to step back, rethink and rebuild. This is your opportunity to be part of the redesign of a critical system, moving beyond “good enough” to create a high‑performing platform that truly supports our growth and sets us up for long‑term success.
The Role
This is a pivotal position within the program team - one that offers both the challenge and the opportunity to lead the design and integration of the master schedule for a complex, multi‑stream ERP transformation from the ground up.
You will ensure strategic alignment across all workstreams, proactively manage interdependencies, and provide actionable insights that support delivery on‑time and on‑budget. You'll also:
- Align program and project schedules with strategic objectives, critical paths, dependencies and resource constraints.
- Lead schedule scenario planning, impact analysis and critical-path optimisation.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to validate sequencing, resource allocation and milestone achievement.
- Identify, analyse and manage schedule risks, bottlenecks and cross‑stream dependencies.
- Drive the use of advanced scheduling and reporting tools, establish best‑practice scheduling standards, and mentor project teams to lift scheduling maturity.
About you
You bring significant experience in master scheduling for large-scale ERP or IT transformation programs, and you’re ready to take on your next big challenge. You'll also demonstrate:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project or comparable enterprise-grade scheduling tools.
- Strong expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule risk analysis.
- Proven ability to clearly communicate schedule impacts, risks and recovery strategies to executive stakeholders.
- Experience navigating hybrid delivery environments (Prince2 / Agile / PMBOK).
- Excellent analytical, organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and deliver in a fast‑paced, evolving program environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated program‑level schedules for complex ICT/ERP programs, including milestone planning and cross‑project dependency management.
