Join City of Moreton Bay as a Internal Communications Partner, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
You'll play a key role in delivering strategic communication that supports organisational priorities, strengthens team member engagement and brings leadership messages to life.
Working across an organisation that spans more than 80 industries and professions, you'll partner with leaders at all levels to deliver communication that informs, influences and drives action. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of initiatives, from organisational change and employee engagement to leadership communication and high-profile projects.
In this role, you'll:
- Design and deliver strategic communication plans and campaigns
- Create compelling content including leadership messages, communication plans, briefing materials, scripts and campaign assets
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing specialist communication advice and coaching
- Manage complex and sensitive communication matters with sound judgement and stakeholder insight
- Mentor Internal Communications Officers and contribute to team capability development.

About you
We’re looking for an experienced communication professional who enjoys building relationships, solving complex challenges and translating strategy into meaningful communication outcomes.
Bring your significant experience in internal communications, corporate communications or employee engagement, along with the agility to work across a broad and diverse organisation.
You'll also bring:
- Demonstrated success developing and delivering strategic communication plans, campaigns and complex content
- Strong advisory skills with experience influencing and coaching senior leaders
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship-building capability
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide evidence-based recommendations
- The confidence to manage sensitive, high-impact or organisation-wide communication matters
- Experience in change communication, organisational transformation, crisis communication or issue management will be highly regarded.
