Join City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Contracts Officer - Waste and Resource Recovery (W&RR), and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement Officer, providing front end procurement delivery for a range of major waste service contracts. You'll be leading procurement activities from contract creation and establishment to execution and mobilisation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You'll also:
- Identify internal contract specification issues to determine procurement pathways that support W&RR outcomes
- Undertake market analysis, scope writing, document suite compilation, stakeholder engagement, contract execution and pre-commencement activities
- Administer procurement pipeline scheduling for service contract renewals and extensions
- Oversee procurement timeline management and escalate tasks of at risk activities
- Build high level relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

About you
We are looking for your specialist knowledge of the waste services industry and procurement experience to support identifying and preparing major contracts, delivering tender evaluation processes, and undertaking various procurement life-cycle practices. You'll also bring:
- Inquisitive, process and detail driven focus
- Familiarity with platforms such as Vendor Panel, eProcure and Local Buy
- Understand contract terms and condition requirements, and establishment principals
- Strong analytical skills, and communication experience delivering written and verbal presentations.
