The Details:

  • Full Time Contract
  • TRP $243,631pa (inclusive of 12% super and leave loading)
  • 76 hour fortnight
  • 5 weeks annual leave
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Strathpine

Join City of Moreton Bay as Head of Enterprise Architecture, where you'll define and lead Council's enterprise-wide architecture function. Guiding a high-performing team, you'll connect business strategy, technology, and digital delivery to create a future-ready organisation

You will have the opportunity to influence the organisation's technology vision, creating the connections between people, process and technology to drive business performance.

With responsibility for connecting strategy to delivery, you'll work with stakeholders at every level, from technical experts to senior executives, ensuring technology investments deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes for the business.

You will; 

  • grow and mature Council’s new enterprise architecture framework, function and team in alignment with endorsed Strategies and Policies
  • lead the development of a target state architecture and contribute to the development of a technology target operating model aligned to Council’s Digital Action Plan
  • promote and implement architecture principles, standards and guardrails

About you

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong track record of shaping technology direction and delivering strategic outcomes. You will bring extensive enterprise architecture expertise, and a deep understanding of security, governance, and organisational needs to translate strategy into business value.

You confidently engage with officers at all levels, influence decision-making, and build alignment across technical and non-technical team members.  You will be an effective communicator and strategic thinker, driving alignment, navigating complexity, and translating vision into action.

You will have a degree in information technology or other relevant field, and experience of enterprise architecture frameworks, including TOGAF.
