  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days
  • Location: Narangba

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Safety Training Business Partner, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Safety Training Business Partner you will collaborate across all divisions, leading the development and ongoing maintenance of our safety learning needs analysis to identify mandatory and role specific training aligned to City of Moreton Bay’s Wellbeing and Safety Management system. You'll be:

  • Conducting gap analysis on the current Wellbeing and Safety training programs and establishing a structured plan, identifying delivery that enhanced learning outcomes for target audiences
  • Reviewing safety training programs offered externally to City of Moreton Bay
  • Building and maintaining the Corporate and Operational Wellbeing and Safety Induction program
  • Partnering with the Capability team to develop training in any online formats
  • Facilitating face to face training programs
  • Establishing structured reporting to monitor safety training compliance.

About you

We're looking for an experienced Learning and Development professional, 5 years+, preferably in a Technical Safety and experienced in understanding and managing Training Needs Analysis to design Verifications of Competency Programs. Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety, and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are desirable.

You'll also bring your:

  • Considerable experience delivering face to face capability programs and resources.
  • Demonstrated analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Experience working within high risk, complex operational environments
  • Experience of end-to-end project delivery.
  • Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence (required).
