As a a Project Engineer you will be a part of our team that is delivering building and facilities projects. You will provide specific project management lifecycle advice and ensure compliance on contract construction projects to support contract delivery including the surveillance of the construction process in accordance with relevant legislation, standards and regulations.

You will have the opportunity to; 

• be responsible for the delivery of low to medium complexity infrastructure projects under the guidance of more senior staff 
• support through whole of project life including design, procurement and delivery whilst ensuring adherence to time cost quality and safety objectives
• review and audit engineering drawings and technical specifications for construction projects to ensure compliance with business and project requirements.
• prepare project reports including updates on project status and procurement recommendations

About you

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Project Engineer with proven experience in building and facilities projects to support the successful delivery of a diverse capital works program. Working client‑side, you will coordinate design inputs, manage contractors, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with scope, quality, and safety requirements.

You will have: 

• experience in building construction
• services coordination
• the ability to communicate confidently with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently
• facilities‑based project delivery is highly desirable

You will have a degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or project management. You will hold a current C class driver’s licence and Construction Induction Card competency that has been used or obtained within the past 2 years.
