About our opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an engineer passionate about contemporary integrated transport infrastructure design to join our team and work on projects that really benefit the community.

As a Principal in our team you will provide expert engineering input into the development and delivery of the design of integrated transport infrastructure programs and projects to meet the needs of the region.

You will assist with the preparation of concept sketches and design briefs, and provide feedback on civil engineering design plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines, whilst also being context sensitive, fit for purpose and provide value for money for the community.

  • Youngs Crossing Road Bridge and Road Project (link)
  • Old Gympie Road Corridor Upgrade (link)
  • Alma Road Rail Underpass Upgrade (link)
  • Caboolture River Road Upgrade (link)

About you

We are seeking an engineer experienced in integrated transport engineering!

You will be ready to take on your next challenge and make a real difference, seeing the finished results really benefit the Moreton Bay community.

A natural communicator, you will quickly build quality working relationships, negotiate conflicting priorities, and prepare and present accurate and succinct complex technical reports and proposals to various internal and external stakeholders. With a comprehensive knowledge of best practice integrated transport design principals and relevant standards, you will quickly become a valuable member of our team.

You will ideally hold a relevant degree in a field such as Civil Engineering, and hold (or be eligible and willing to obtain) RPEQ and Senior Road Safety Auditor registrations.

Term: Permanent Full Time

Award/Level:  Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 7 of the Moreton Bay Regional Council EBA4 Certified Agreement

Location: Strathpine

  • $100,381pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • 9 day fortnight
