  • Maximum Term 12 months Full Time | 9 day fortnight
  • $103,597 pa to $123,300 + 12% super (level 5 to 7)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Strathpine

As a part the Facilities, Open Spaces and Parks team, you'll be managing a complex portfolio of community buildings, green space, parks and recreations projects from procurement through construction and liability and maintenance period. You'll also:

  • Manage the approvals process with minimal guidance
  • Provide specialist advice in accordance with current construction legislation, Australian standards, Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Manage the detailed design process including coordination and management of consultants
  • Resolve complex construction issues 
  • Manage progressive payment claims made by contractors.

About you

We're looking for your comprehensive experience managing the delivery of buildings, parks, green space, parks and recreations projects, using your:

  • Knowledge of construction legislation, Australian standards, Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Ability to communicate complex planning and construction matters simply and concisely
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
