- $123,300 to $158,440 pa + 12% super (level 7 to 8)
- 72.5 hour fortnight
- Location: Dakabin or Caboolture

This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced waste-management professional who wants more than day-to-day operations. You will lead the safe, efficient and compliant operation of a major facility, while helping City of Moreton Bay improve resource recovery, environmental performance and service outcomes for a growing community.
You’ll take ownership of landfill, transfer-station and resource-recovery activities, lead and develop a capable operational team, manage contractors and stakeholder relationships, and turn operational insight into practical improvements. Your work will balance site safety, environmental obligations, financial stewardship and excellent public service.

Position Description - Site Operations Team Leader
This role is known as Site Operations Team Leader within our organisation.
What you’ll bring
You will have substantial experience leading landfill and waste-facility operations, including environmental management, weighbridge systems and the Queensland waste levy. You will be known for sound governance and risk judgement, constructive relationships with regulators and contractors, and the ability to guide teams through change.
A current C-class driver licence and Construction Induction Card are required. Vaccinations for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus are required (or willingness to obtain).
