    Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 3 of EBA5
  • 9 day fortnight
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Location: Redcliffe based with work at Caboolture & Strathpine when required

About our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Exhibition Support Officer to join our Gallery Exhibitions Team!

As Exhibition Support Officer you will provide administrative support across all aspects of the team, with a key focus on install support. You will also support the development and implementation of business processes to ensure efficient and effective work practices.

In this role, you will support the development of exhibitions by:

  • liaising with artists and gallerists
  • preparing exhibition contracts and correspondence
  • coordinating administration and finance processes
  • planning and supporting exhibition installations.

Council currently has galleries located at Caboolture, Redcliffe, and Strathpine

About you

To be successful in this role you will have strong communication skills; exceptional organisation and administrative skills and problem-solving skills to support the operations of the gallery exhibition team.

With a keen interest in the arts sector, you will have experience in and knowledge of the development and delivery of high-quality exhibitions and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment. Experience in exhibition installations is desirable.

This position requires the successful applicant to be available to work any 5 out of 7 days as part of the ordinary hours. We anticipate the roster will be Monday to Friday with an RDO every second week, the successful candidate may be required to work weekends based on operational requirements.
