Join City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Executive Support Officer and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a Senior Executive Support Officer, you will provide high level executive and business support to our General Manager, Manager, and Senior leaders across the Digital Transformation Directorate.
This role will see you coordinate the ongoing delivery of administrative and professional executive business support, including managing the General Manager’s electronic diary, prioritising appointments, coordinating and managing tasks and actions and organising meetings/functions, for the Digital Transformation Directorate SLT and provide executive-level confidential secretarial services.
You will also
- provide administrative support including drafting complex business documents, correspondence, reports and other relevant documents
- liaise with Councillors, departmental officers, state and federal MP’s offices and members of the public including residents
- provide leadership and direction to a high performing team
- manage customer escalations referred to the General Manager’s office, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required to coordinate and manage professional responses
- manage, monitor and lodge General Meeting, Audit Committee, Councillor Briefing and ELT documentation
- prepare and deliver purchase orders, manage reconciliation of corporate credit cards and process financial claims for the General Manager and senior leaders
About you
We are seeking an experienced professional executive assistant with highly developed time management, work prioritisation and organisational skills. You will have extensive experience in leading and providing support at an Executive level and be proactive and self-motivated nature.
This is a role that requires exceptional professional judgement, initiative and confidentiality. You will have experience coordinating and overseeing the research and investigation of matters, with strong attention to detail in producing and analysing findings and reports in a politically sensitive environment.
You will have the ability to apply critical thinking, reasoning, evaluation and decision-making skills within a broad framework and experience providing detailed industry advice to senior leaders to ensure compliance with governance and legislative requirements.
Your excellent interpersonal skills will aid your success in this role. You will have the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes at all levels of the organisation, contributing to a positive work environment with a strong focus on provision of quality customer service.
