About the role 

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Waste Management Field Operator and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow!

Our Waste Field Operations team carry out general labouring across a range of waste management activities across our parks and public areas in a safe, effective and timely manner. Activities include:

• Cleansing duties associated with Council’s public amenities
• Maintaining and safely operating Waste Collection and Amenities Cleaning light vehicles
• Ensuring safe use of chemicals, cleansing equipment
• Completing administrative documents associated with the role
• Maintaining good working relations and deal cooperatively with members of the public and team members.

This role requires the participation in council's "After Hours On-Call and Programmed Overtime Roster" service.

This position requires the successful applicant to be available to work any 5 out of 7 days as part of the ordinary hours.

We have current vacancies based at Caboolture and Redcliffe, you will be able to nominate your preferred location/s when completing the application form. You will also be able to nominate your interest for future opportunities based at Dakabin within the application form.
