The Details:

  • 3x New Permanent Full-Time roles
  • $83k up to 103k + 12% super (level 3-5) Level is based on experience
  • 72.5 hour fortnight, includes fortnightly RDO
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Caboolture, local parking available, and walking distance to Caboolture train station

You’ll be part of a team responsible for assessing development applications and providing planning advice that supports well‑designed, sustainable and community‑focused outcomes. Depending on your level of experience, you may:

  • Review and assess a range of development applications.
  • Provide clear, practical planning advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake site inspections, research and analysis to support quality recommendations.
  • Contribute to negotiations relating to infrastructure charging, agreements and conditions.
  • Help resolve land‑use matters and ensure outcomes meet legislative and policy requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive, high‑performance team culture.

We’re looking for planners at all stages of their careers who are:

  • Curious, community‑minded and passionate about quality development outcomes.
  • Great communicators who can build positive relationships across teams and stakeholders.
  • Able to interpret legislative and planning frameworks
  • Problem‑solvers who enjoy balancing technical analysis with practical decision‑making.
  • Interested in development assessment, urban design, placemaking or related planning disciplines.
  • Degree in Town Planning or equivalent
  • A current C-Class Driver’s Licence and White Card (or willingness to obtain).
