Term: Maximum Term - appointment term will generally be for the remaining duration of your undergraduate studies.

Part Time OR Full Time, dependent upon your availability and preference.

Award/Level:  Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 1 of the Moreton Bay Regional Council EBA4 Certified Agreement

  • $30.98 per hour + super (up to 12%)
  • Work 3, 4 or 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), depending on what suits your study needs
  • Strathpine location

About our opportunity

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated University Student to work in our Information, Communication and Technology team!

Our ICT support function is integral to the smooth running of the organisation, providing ICT service desk support to resolve issues and restore user productivity in a timely manner.

Working alongside professionals in this field, you will gain some great knowledge in the area of your studies as you assist the team in projects, engage with various internal stakeholders to assist in troubleshooting, and investigating potential future technologies.

Your enthusiasm and drive will be paired with exceptional customer service skills as we strive to provide a great experience for all of our stakeholders we interact with.

You will be currently enrolled in relevant university studies and be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week (Monday to Friday).

Relevant studies will ideally have an Information Technology focus, but if you have a second major or minor of something like business, creative industries or web design that would be beneficial too.
