About our opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Library Program and Engagement Officer to join our team at North Lakes!
Reporting directly to the Library Program and Engagement Lead, you will plan and implement library programs and initiatives to address local and regional community needs, across our 10 library branches! To deliver optimal customer outcomes, you will also develop and maintain positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and community organisations.
As a dedicated member of our team, you will actively contribute to building and sustaining a high performing team environment and enhance the skills, knowledge and capacity of our library team members, with a focus on sharing relevant programming and engagement knowledge.
About you
We are looking for a team member who is passionate about quality customer service and innovative library programs including STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics)!
You will be experienced and knowledgeable in public library service delivery including, a strong understanding of the diverse community needs and a high-level of expertise in library program development.
You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to engage constructively and build relationships with a suite of internal and external parties.
You will hold a current Qld Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or be eligible and willing to obtain prior to commencement.
