The Details:

  • Maximum Term Full Time | 12 month | 9 day fortnight
  • $106,975 pa + 12% super (level 6)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Northlakes 

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Lead Project Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Lead Project Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic projects across the Cultural Services Department, which includes Libraries, Galleries, Museums, Cultural Activation + more, with a workforce of 270+ staff.

Operating in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, you’ll apply proven project management methodologies to drive customer‑focused, high‑quality outcomes for our diverse communities. 

  • Lead and support the planning, execution, and reporting of customer and digital experience projects
  • Apply structured project management methodologies manage scope, risk, budget and timelines
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, alignment, and buy-in from diverse groups
  • Develop and implement communication plans
  • Design training and capability-building initiatives to support adoption of new systems, processes, and customer-centric practices
  • Champion the use of a Voice of the Customer (VoC) framework
  • Provide expert advice and support in change management, capability uplift, and digital transformation
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance
  • Foster a collaborative team culture that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About you

You’re a proactive and adaptable project leader with strong project management expertise and excellent communication skills. You thrive in dynamic environments, managing complex stakeholder relationships and driving customer‑focused outcomes.

With proven experience in digital services, organisational change, and capability uplift, you bring strong facilitation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, alongside the ability to deliver sustainable change and high‑quality results.
