The details:

This position will have you operating a range of medium plant items on a daily basis (predominantly operating an 8 tonne excavator and sporadic skid steer operation as needed) performing roads and drains related maintenance duties which mainly include drain and culvert clearing and drainage remediation. You will be driving the truck to designated work sites, carrying out pre start checks on the relevant plant/equipment, using attachments such as the flail mower and reporting any defects or safety issues with the plant/equipment or projects as required.

About you

Ideally you will have demonstrated current or recent experience operating excavators and skid steers undertaking similar work. You will have demonstrated experience in the operation of a range of medium plant items associated with civil construction and/or maintenance activities - particularly experience operating excavators of similar size and skid steers. 

Paired with the above mentioned skills and experience, you will also hold a current truck licence (minimum HR - heavy rigid), a Construction Induction Card and Certification in the operation in Excavator (LE) and Skid Steer (LS).
