  • 72.5hour fortnight

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Community Halls Senior Support Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As our Community Halls Senior Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support within the Community Halls portfolio, including Caboolture Hub Learning and Business Centre. Additionally, this position will provide an on-site point of contact and point of escalation at Caboolture Hub Learning and Business Centre. 

You will have the opportunity to;

  • provide a range of administrative and support function associated with the operation of Council’s network of Community Halls and the Caboolture Hub Learning and Business Centre, including but not limited to: booking processes; financial operations; venue management activities; and hirer engagement. 
  • develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders through the provision of high-quality customer service.
  • manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and customer requests, ensuring that timely responses are provided, and emergent issues are escalated.
  • effectively navigate information systems and resources in accordance with relevant Council policies, directives and work instructions.

About you

We are seeking someone who has experience with booking processes, financial operations, venue management and hirer engagement - if you have held previous roles where you have performed these tasks then we want to hear from you! 

This experience coupled with a dedication to great customer service - including the ability to work with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. You will be highly organised and seek to keep people informed. 

You will be proficiency in the suite of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook. 

Significant experience in customer facing roles, and the demonstrated ability to deliver high quality customer outcomes is highly desirable to be successful in this role!
