Leading a team of three, you’ll play a key role in delivering strategic, engaging communications across libraries, galleries, museums, heritage, and cultural activation. You will also:
- Develop and implement promotional strategies in partnership with Cultural Services branches
- Create and edit engaging content for print, digital, and social media platform
- Manage departmental websites and social media accounts, including monitoring and reporting
- Lead and support the communications team, ensuring quality and consistency
- Research and report on communication trends to inform strategy and innovation

About you
You’ll bring valuable communications experience from within the cultural sector, ideally gained through work in libraries, galleries, heritage, museums, or performing arts. Skilled across both print and digital channels, your writing will be accurate, creative, and tailored to suit each platform and audience.
As a confident communicator, you’ll build quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support senior leaders by understanding Cultural Services operations to help promote their work.
You’ll also bring: 
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to lead a team and juggle competing priorities
- The ability to work quickly under pressure while contributing to long-term strategic planning
- Sound knowledge of communication practices within a corporate cultural services context
